Scan Into Envelope Registry entry

Specifies whether barcode checking is being performed between the 2D certificate barcode and address slip barcode to ensure a certificate is going to the correct address.

Note: Used in the Newfoundland and Labrador Vital Statistics Division and the Saskatchewan Vital Statistics Agency.

This Registry entry can be assigned to users and groups:

where:

boolean

is true (barcode checking is being performed) or false (barcode checking is not being performed). When set to true, the Mail>Mailed Menu option will display in the POS module. Note: If this entry is not present, a setting of true is assumed.

Example

This entry specifies that group Production can access the Mail>Mailed Menu option in POS in order to scan the barcode on a Birth Certificate and on an Address Slip to ensure that the certificate is being mailed to the correct address:
